Summary 

Sullivan was the General Contractor on this multi-award-winning renovation and expansion to the existing 1860s landmark in Pembroke, ON in collaboration with the Facilities Management Branch of the Ministry of the Attorney General for the province of Ontario. Completed on schedule and on budget, the courthouse consolidated the Superior and Ontario Courts of Justice from multiple locations into a single facility. The site also houses Crown attorney offices, courts administration, and victim/witness services offices. The scope of work also included updated security measures, technological enhancements, and the availability of simultaneous translation of court proceedings. The addition to the building was designed to meet modern judicial requirements while still incorporating and enhancing the historic aspect of the site.
